Waalre was created when the independent municipalities of Aalst and Waalre were consolidated in 1923.
Aalst is the founding city of Brabantia.

Eindhoven is famous for :

• founding city of Philips and DAF Trucks.
• High Tech Campus housing international research for Philips, NXP semiconductors, Atos Origin and now also IBM and Intel .
• PSV Eindhoven is the major football (soccer) club in the city. Playing in the Philips Stadion it is the dominant club in the Dutch highest league. FC Eindhoven the second club of Eindhoven (Dutch league champions in 1954) is currently not doing that well.

Valkenswaard is a municipality located in the province of Noord-Brabant in the south of the Netherlands and has a population of 31217 people (July 1^st 2021)

The name Valkenswaard stems from its history of falconers, who caught wild falcons there; "valk" is Dutch for "falcon". It lay on a route where falcons migrated south each year. The falconry started in the 16^th century and the town was allmost completely dependant on it. In the 17^th, 18^th, and 19^th centuries, Valkenswaardian falconers were active at many European courts, in which falconing was a beloved pastime.
