How to re-register a server in DNS without rebooting or restarting NetLogonThe NetLogon service performs several dynamic Domain Name System (DNS) registrations and deregistrations when the service starts, on server boot and at regular intervals thereafter.
However you probably do not want to restart this service on a running server just to re-register the server in the DNS.
You can use this command on the command line interface:
nltest [/server:<ServerName>] /dsregdns
